The Walton abduction concerns the alien abduction case of American logger Travis Walton, in 1975, in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests of Arizona.

Close encounter[]

On November 5, 1975, Arizona native and logger Travis Walton was working with six of his fellow loggers. While driving in their truck, the group came across a disc-shaped object hovering just above the ground. Walton jumped from the truck and approached the disc. A solid beam of bright white light shot from the object, knocking Walton unconscious.[1] The other loggers were spooked and left Walton.

Walton regained consciousness in a hospitalesque room surrounded by three Greys. After he lashes out at them, they leave. A short time later, a human with a helmet leads him out through a hall past other crafts to other humans. Walton has an mask placed over his face and blacks out. When he woke up, he was back on the highway and saw the craft fly away. Five days had gone by since Walton was last with his coworkers.[1]

Disclosure[]

Travis Walton reappeared after a five-day search. Walton wrote about his abduction experience in his 1978 book The Walton Experience. The book was adapted into the film Fire in the Sky (1993), written by Tracy Tormé.
