Nathan F. Twining (1897—1982)

The Metallurgical team of 1947 is a list of scientific personnel of the Metallurgical Lab, Chicago, dated 17 July 1947. It is believed to be part of the Twining memos from Nathan Farragut Twining (October 11, 1897 – March 29, 1982) a United States Air Force general, born in Monroe, Wisconsin. General Twining was directly involved in the Roswell craft recovery of July 1947. The Metallurgical list dated the 17th, is then followed by a Twining memo Jul 1947 dated the next day, that requests $6,000,000 in funding.

The following is a transcript copy from the original that can be obtained here.
