Four Corners refers to the connecting state borders of Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona in the United States. The four state corners meet at the intersection of approximately 37° north latitude with 109° 03' west longitude. The quadripoint is marked by the Four Corners Monument.[2] Four Corners is situated in the Empty Quarter of North America.

Four Corners southwest territory belongs to Apache, Arapaho, Bannock, Cheyenne, Comanche, Cocopah, Halchidhoma, Havasupai, Hopi, Hualapi, Jacome and Jano, Maricopa, Mohave, Navajo, O’odham, Paiute, Papago, Pueblo, Pima, Shoshone, Ute and Goshute, Yavapai, Yuma, Zuni people, and Anasazi and Hohkam descendants. European colonists[1] seized their land by force and contained these nations under unlawful “legally defined borders”.[3]
