Bill Uhouse (c. 1930 — 29 May 2009, Pennsylvania ) was a test pilot and mechanical engineer at Area 51 who retired about 1987. He was partnered with a J-Rod called “Jarod 2” from 1966 to 1979.
Jarod 2[edit | edit source]
Uhouse worked with “Jarod 2” (a “J-Rod”) to build a flight simulator in training Air Force pilots to fly advanced USAF stealth reconnaissance craft. Uhouse's specialty was the flight deck and the instruments on the flight deck. The advanced technology was based on research and development in the reverse-engineering field of UFO craft recoveries from after World War II. A UFO craft recovery incident in Kingman, Arizona in 1958 is what led to advanced stealth research. Uhouse died in 2009 in Pennsylvania.
